All cats must be fully vaccinated against enteritis and flu and provide a valid vaccination certificate.
All male cats over 7 months old must be neutred.
Cats or small animals in need of veterinary attention will be treated by the local Vet unless owners ask specifically for their own vet to be consulted. There will be a charge of 40p per mile for this service. Treatment will be given at the discretion of the Vet. Fees for veterinary services usually have to be paid at time of treatment, therefore the cattery will settle any payment, although the cats owner will be held liable for the full amount which must be paid on collection of their pet.
Although every possible care and attention is given to ensure the welfare and happiness of boarders, no responsibility is taken for their loss, injury or illness.
The Proprietor shall reserve the right to take whatever action they think fit to ensure the well being of boarders.
The Proprietor should be told of any recent illness or of any characteristic of health or habit, which could give rise to concern.
Should any cat or small animal remain uncollected for four weeks after the agreed terminal date of its stay, the proprietor shall reserve the right to assume ownership and take any action which they consider reasonable.
Boarding fees are payable on departure or may be paid in advance. Accounts of long-term boarders are payable monthly or in advance.
Due to demand for bookings, all days booked for must be paid for irrespective of collection of animal early.
If the situation should occur whereby payment by Cheque is not cleared, clients will be held responsible for any additional bank charges incurred.
Cancellation Policy: If you cannot give more than 7 days notice of cancellation, you will be liable for payment in full and will be invoiced accordingly. However if we are able to re-let the space or some days of that space you will not be charged for those days.
In addition to the above conditions, the following considerations are helpful.
Incoming cats/small animals should arrive in a proper pet carrier or own cage/hutch. This will stay with them should evacuation of the area be necessary.
You may settle your own cat/small animal if you wish.
Flea and worm treatments are advised at least a week before admission date.
Collars with magnetic parts should be removed.
